I am looking for a document describing all the options for the different barcodes. Questions like "What is granularity?" shoud be answered there. It is for my technicians, who have to setup and configure a programm using the barcode components.

Are you using any of LEADTOOLS toolkits?

If yes, Which LEADTOOLS version (15, 16, 16.5, etc.) and programming interface (.NET classes, DLL API, etc.) are you using?

For example, if you are using LEADTOOLS v16.5 .Net programming interface, you can find the information in the LEADTOOLS .Net documentation. Also, you can use the following link to access the .Net barcode online documentation:

I am using LEADTOOLS 16 and 14.5. We are using DLL API.

This infos I already saw, but it is not what I am looking for. I need a document explaning the idea of each parameter not how it is set. An explanation for people configuring a module using this parameters. They should not know if I used .net, dll etc. for programming.

The information is there in the help file I sent you, but it is not summarized in one help topic.
It is distributed in different topics, which are geared toward the programmer who's going to write the code using our toolkit.

For example, the concept of Granularity is in the Granularity Property topic here:
http://www.leadtools.com/Help/LEADTOOLS/v16/DH/BA/Leadtools.Barcode~Leadtools.Barcode.Barcode1d~Granularity.html

The topic is a technical one about the Leadtools.Barcode.Barcode1d.Granularity Property, but it mentions that the function of this property is to specify "...number of scanned lines per column to skip when reading a barcode".

If you are looking for "general design" or "white paper" documents about barcode, I'm afraid we don't have such a document.
