Thanks for replying.

I have another question regarding AnnObject: how come AnnObject is not derived from FrameworkElement or Control, but rather it derives from a DependencyObject?

It would have been more useful the other way around, but just wondering why it was done this way.

Our forums moderator has split your post from the old thread where you posted it. The reason is that your issue is most likely a new one and not related to the old post.

The annotation objects are not full Windows controls. Otherwise, they would consume too many Windows resources. Our annotations engine handles them internally to be more efficient.
