In my application I need to identify only the handwritten text in a specific region. There is printed text too in that region. I am using OCR module.
So how can I recognize only the handwritten text?
It's also sufficient if we can know whether there's handwritten text in that particular region if we can not identify the handwritten text separately.
Really appreciate your help. Thanks!

This can be done if you can draw the zone manually. You will need to draw a zone over the handwritten text only and then apply ICR on that zone.
The only way to find if there's handwritten text in the image is to recognize it.
