ltmmCapture and ltmmPlay Question?

Hi,

I am learning your tools now. The question arise with me now is the following:

1) is ltmmCapture object calling the ltmmCaptureCtrl to help him interfacing with the Hardware(collecting data from the device buffer)?

2) is ltmmCaptureCtrl directly communicate with the device driver?? or through windows registry??

1) ltmmCaptureCtrl is calling ltmmCapture

2) ltmmCapture is communicating with the device driver through DirectShow. Device drivers provide DirectShow filters for capturing video.
