Printing Tags to Image on the Film in DICOM printing

Hi,

I want to print the Dicom Tags with the image on the film. Using your Print Management PrintSCU demo I am not able to print these on the film.Can you please tell me how to achieve it?

You need to use the use Basic Annotation Box SOP Class (see DICOM Standard PS 3.4 section Annex H.4.4).

SCP will create Basic Annotation Box SOP Instance at the time the Basic Film Box SOP Instance is created and it is based on the value you supply in Annotation Display Format ID (2010, 0030) of the Basic Film Box.

You will use N-SET to send the text for each Basic Annotation Box SOP instance by supplying values for Annotation position (2030, 0010) and Text String (2030, 0020). Please note that what location annotation text will be printed on the film is up to the SCP and you need to read their DICOM conformance statement for the implementation specific information.
