Hi,
I am using LT 14.5 with latest patches and Visual Basic 6.
In my application, I am displaying dicom overlay on dicom image in red color.
The feature is working fine and displays the overlays properly.
I have an issue with a specific image (attached), where one third party dicom viewer shows dicom overlay in multiple colors. Whereas my application displays the overlay in only one (red) color. Please note that I can change this red color to blue, or green or white etc. But still it will be a single color only.
I am trying to diagnose on what basis the third party application is able to differentiate the color of overlay.
Can you please help me finding out the how could I achieve this using Lead Tools ?

The dataset only contains one standard Dicom overlay. However, it contains a large number of private tags (non-standard). Does the overlay display with color with various viewers from different vendors, or does that only happen with a viewer from the modality manufacturers?
Thanks,

One of my colleagues tested your DICOM image with a third-party viewer and it displays it similar to our viewer. This means it's something specific to the manufacturers.
Thanks,
