I have .jpg images let say of about 4 000 x 3 000
pixeles.
I want to make a thumbnail image of them
of about 1 200 x 800 pixeles with text on top
I am not gettting very good results on the text quality.
1) Should I first put the text on top of
the original image and then make the thumbnail?
2) Make the thumbnail and then add the text?
Any small example of how to get it... for example to put my signature or the copyright on top of the
thumbnail.

If you want to add text on the image, it's better to add the text after resizing the image.
