Older LEAD tools libraries

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question but here goes:
We have used the LEAD tools libraries (Version 10) for many years in one of our products. We use the LBitmap class to display images. We have recently run into a problem where on some PCs the images show up gray. The problem can show in two different ways. Either the image appears initially gray but can be made to display correctly by refreshing, or the image is simply gray and nothing will make it display properly. The problem seems worse under Windows 7 and seems to depend on processor/graphic card combinations. But we have at least two Windows7 64bit machines that work perfectly well!
Bottom line is - are there known issues with older LEAD tools DLLs running on modern PCs?
The problem first became noticable when we moved from the Microsoft 2005 to 2008 compiler.

From the description, the problem might be related to palette handling either in your code or in the old toolkit you have.

LEADTOOLS v10 went out of production long before MS-VS2008 was released, so we did not test them together. However, newer compilers and editions of Windows like VS2008 and Windows 7 are usually backward-compatible with older libraries, so they will likely work together.

If you send your toolkit serial number or license information to support@leadtools.com we will send you download instructions to the latest version of your toolkit setup and DLLs.

We can also try to find a solution or workaround if we can reproduce the issue at our side, so please send full details with the email.
