LEAD Adds Exciting New Web APIs to LEADTOOLS Cloud Services

We’ve released an update to LEADTOOLS Cloud Services that adds four new Web APIs, as well as stability, speed, and accuracy improvements. The new APIs are Document and Image Merging, AAMVA ID Recognition, Redaction, and Business Card Recognition. The new Redaction and Merge APIs work with both document and image formats. These Web APIs can be used in any programming environment that can make a web request, such as PHP, Python, and Perl, C#, and JavaScript, and are sure to enhance many desktop, mobile, and web applications.

Whether you are a current user of LEADTOOLS or if you have never developed with our SDK before, you can easily configure LEADVIEW API, the newest high-level HTML5/JavaScript Document Viewer from LEADTOOLS. LEADVIEW API is built utilizing React and is designed to be fully customizable through configuration files without any programming needed. Using the LEADTOOLS LEADVIEW library, you can create an entire, fully-functional DocumentViewer application with as few as three lines of code. The component is highly customizable and supports all the features of the existing low-level Document Viewer.

Extract Barcode Data from an Image Taken Using the LEADTOOLS Xamarin Camera Control

LEADTOOLS latest release included the introduction of the Xamarin Camera Control. This control eliminates the need to write native iOS or Android camera code. Developers can now engineer the camera control into their Xamarin.Forms application with one line of code.

Below is a tutorial on how to extract data from barcodes from images that have been taken using the Xamarin Camera Control. This example is great for developers who have been using the native iOS/Android code to access the devices camera to recognize barcodes.
