Product Description:
The LEADTOOLS Medical Multimedia Module includes a full Multimedia development toolkit, MPEG-2, Motion JPEG, and JPEG2000 DirectShow filters, and DICOM DirectShow Read and Write filters.
The DICOM File Reader Filter provides the ability to ability for any DirectShow based media player or application to play, cine, or convert any DICOM file with standard DICOM video compressions including MPEG-2, lossy and lossless JPEG, and JPEG2000. This filter offers basic stream and frame rate control functionality, as well as the ability to insert a user-defined external DICOM dataset and obtain access to the initialized dataset for use with other processes.
The DICOM File Writer Filter provides the ability to create DICOM files with both video and audio using MPEG-2, Motion JPEG, and JPEG2000 compression, while allowing the user to adjust the different attributes of the video stream including bit rate and quality factor. Video data can be added to existing DICOM files, as well as new files created from a set of predefined DICOM classes or IODs. When used in conjunction with LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging SDK's, developers have all the tools necessary to create powerful medical applications for creating, editing, and viewing DICOM files.
