Product Description:
The LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging toolkit is a comprehensive solution for medical application development. It handles all aspects of end-to-end medical imaging applications development, including capturing, processing, compressing, displaying and printing. Complete support for all Information Object Definitions (IODs) in the DICOM 3 2008 standard will enable your applications to exchange digital information among state-of-the-art, multi-vendor medical imaging equipment and other systems in a picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) environment.
With the LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging toolkit, developers have access to features that have been chosen and optimized to meet the specific demands of the medical imaging market, such as the full DICOM dataset, 1-32 bit grayscale image handling, 12- and 16-bit image processing, overlays, annotation, window leveling, LUT processing, digital signatures, true 16 bit LUT support, support for painting directly to grayscale video cards, DICOMDIR, and a medical image display container with built-in tools for rapid application development.
LEAD's DICOM imaging support is the richest in the industry, supporting 8, 10, 12, 16, 24 and 32 bit images including JPEG (8, 10 , 12, 16-bit Lossless grayscale, 8, 12-bit lossy grayscale, 24-bit lossless and lossy color), JPEG 2000 (8, 10 , 12, 16-bit grayscale and 24-bit color lossless and lossy), Run Length, Uncompressed, Photometric Interpretation (Monochrome1, Monochrome2, Palletized, RGB, ARGB, CMYK, YBR Full 422, YBR Full), and single and multi-page images.
The LEADTOOLS Medical Multimedia Module includes a full Multimedia development toolkit, MPEG-2, Motion JPEG, and JPEG2000 DirectShow filters, and DICOM DirectShow Read and Write filters.
The LEADTOOLS PACS Imaging module provides you with everything you need to create both client and server components of a picture archive and retrieval system (PACS) that can retrieve, distribute, and present medical images. The module includes full support for medical data communications, automated processing, and all DICOM client/server classes, command sets, and command elements.
In addition to lower level DICOM Communication features, this product includes LEADTOOLS PACS Framework which makes developing DICOM Service Class Providers and Service Class Users even easier. The framework takes care of the entire behind the scenes work leaving the developer to only develop the service class plug-in implementations. Several sample implementations such as Store, Find, Query/Retrieve, Modality Work List and Storage Commit are included.
The LEADTOOLS CCOW Module incorporates Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW) interface standards into the LEADTOOLS PACS Imaging module.This makes it possible to link and synchronize applications.
The LEADTOOLS Medical 3D Module contains classes, properties, methods and events that make it possible to generate 3D models from image files. These can be used in medical, scientific, and industrial imaging applications.
