Note: This topic is for Document/Medical only. The ruler annotation object (AnnRulerObject) is a simple line with gauges on both ends for measuring distance. With the automated functions, the ruler is started on a mouse-down event and completed on a mouse-up event. Programmatically, the boundaries and location of the ruler object can be controlled using the following properties: The AnnRulerObject class inherits a number of properties from the AnnObject class that provide support for font, pen and brush characteristics.
