LEADTOOLS Nag Message

Summary

If you do not provide a RELEASE runtime license when deploying your application to a webserver, client applications will display a "nag" message at runtime. In order to remove the nag message, you must contact LEAD Technologies to obtain a runtime license. You must do this before you deploy your application to your end-users. For more information on obtaining a runtime license, contact sales@leadtools.com.

Once you have obtained a runtime license and developer key, follow these steps to remove the "nag" message: - Create a folder called "LEADTOOLS" in the root folder of your application. This is the default location where the LEADTOOLS components will search for the license file. This value is stored in the lt.LTHelper.LicenseDirectory property. Refer to this property for more information on how to customize the location.
