Represents a page number and character index in the document.
public class DocumentViewerTextPosition
public:
ref class DocumentViewerTextPosition
DocumentViewerTextPosition contains data for identifying a single character in the document. Character indices represent the character itself, not the space between characters where a cursor may be. A value of -1
for CharacterIndex can represent the end of a page when DocumentPageText is null for a DocumentPage, indicating the text has not yet been retrieved. Methods such as DocumentViewerText.Find will internally translate the -1
into the last character index of the page when possible.
To represent a text selection, see DocumentViewerTextItem or DocumentViewerMultiLineTextItem.
