Sets the maximum message length that can be processed (sent and received) by the current entity. This function is available in the PACS Imaging toolkits.

L_LTDIC_API L_UINT32 L_DicomSetMaxMessageLengthISCL(hNet, nMsgLength)
Handle to an existing DICOM Network. This is the handle returned from the L_DicomCreateNet function.
The maximum message length to set.
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| DICOM_SUCCESS | Success. The maximum message length was set using the nMsgLength parameter. |
| DICOM_ERROR_PARAMETER | An error occurred. This usually occurs if the nMsgLength was smaller than 136. (136 bytes is the maximum size of data in mutual authentication request packet.). Refer to Return Codes. |
