DirectShow Input File Formats
The LEADTOOLS Multimedia toolkit reads the following file formats:
- AVI
- DVD (.ifo, .vob) (requires a DVD-compatible video decoder. (For more information, refer to VOB Files.)
- Mpeg1 Layer 3 Audio (MP3)
- MPEG1
- MPEG2 (requires an MPEG2-compatible video decoder such as LEAD MPEG2 Decoder )
- Ogg
- QuickTime
- WAV
- Windows Media Formats (WMA, WMV)
- DICOM
- ISO (MP4, AAC, AVC)
- Flash (FLV, F4V)
- Still Images
- Matroska (MKV)
- WebM
- MXF
- DVR file types (.LBL, .LRC)
- SRT (Secondary format for holding subtitles as text and timing data extracted from a video stream which is associated with that stream). For more information, see SetClosedCaptioningTargetFile.
- LTESC (LEADTOOLS Elementary Stream Catalog) is used as an index file and contains XML which represents all information necessary to merge all split files back together when doing distributed transcoding.
