The LEADTOOLS Multimedia for .NET SDK is built as a custom interop assembly, using LEADTOOLS Multimedia COM objects for the multimedia features implementation. With this release, a manifest-driven activation context is now used to instantiate these multimedia COM objects. Traditional COM registration of these objects in your deployed applications is no longer required when using the Leadtools.Multimedia assembly.
Note that all other LEADTOOLS DirectShow filters and codecs still need to be registered using regsvr32.
