editTextAfterDraw Property

Summary

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the EditText event should occur automatically after the designer has successfully finished drawing a new text object.

Syntax
TypeScript
JavaScript
Object.defineProperty(AnnAutomationManager.prototype, 'editTextAfterDraw',
	get: function(),
	set: function(value)
)
editTextAfterDraw: boolean;

Property Value

true to fire the EditText automatically after the designer has successfully finished drawing a new text object; otherwise, false. The default value is false.

Remarks

The EditText event usually occurs when the user double clicks on an AnnTextObject. This allows the application to show the user-interface elements necessary to edit the text of the object in-place.

You can trigger this event automatically when the user finishes drawing new text objects by setting the value of EditTextAfterDraw property to true. This will cause the in-place text editing user-interface to be invoked right after the user finishes drawing new text objects.
