L_OcrEngine_GetEngineDirectory

Summary

Gets the path of the OCR engine runtime files directory.

Syntax

L_LTOCR_API L_INT EXT_FUNCTION L_OcrEngine_GetEngineDirectory(engine, value, count)

Parameters

L_OcrEngine engine

Handle to the OCR engine.

L_TCHAR* value

Allocated string buffer to hold the engine directory path, you should allocate enough memory for the this buffer to be filled with the engine's directory path.

L_UINT count

Number of the allocated string buffer elements, this should be _countof(value).

The engine directory is optionally passed as the engineDirectory parameter to the L_OcrEngine_Startup method. The is the path to the folder containing the OCR engine runtime files.

By default, during setup the LEADTOOLS OCR Module setup installs the OCR engine files to "Installation Path\Bin\Common\OcrLEADRuntime" where Installation Path is the root folder where the LEADTOOLS for C API is installed (for example, C:\LEADTOOLS22).

If engineDirectory parameter passed to the L_OcrEngine_Startup was NULL then LEADTOOLS OCR engine will look for these extra files in the default installation folder specified above.
