Remarks

If you want to support updating new DICOM elements into the IWorklistDataAccessAgent you can provide the command with an XML representation for the new MPPS IOD using the NSetMppsCommandConfiguration.ModalityPerformedProcedureStepIODPath. This representation can include new DICOM elements with the table and column names where they should be filled in the MPPSDataset object.

This XML representation will be validated against the XML schema returned by the IODSchema property. The user should make sure that the provided XML in the NSetMppsCommandConfiguration.ModalityPerformedProcedureStepIODPath conforms with the IOD schema.

Use this property to get the default IOD and write it to disk so you can perform any update to it. Then configure the NCreateMppsCommandConfiguration.ModalityPerformedProcedureStepIODPath to the location of the new IOD file.
