Name Property (CaptureInput)

Summary

Gets the name of the capture input.

Syntax

C#
VB
C++
public string Name {get;}
Public ReadOnly Property Name As String
public:
property String^ Name {
   String^ get();
}

Property Value

the audio input name.

Remarks

This property is used to uniquely identify the CaptureSubType object. This string is the same as the string in the FriendlyName property. A program can save this value to persistent storage and use it later with the CaptureInputs.IndexOf and CaptureInputs.Selection methods to restore the input selection.
