CONTAINERCALLBACK

Summary

Handles each event that occurs in the container.

Syntax

#include "LtCon.h"

L_INT pEXT_CALLBACK YourFunction(pContainer, nEventType, pEventData, pUserData)

Parameters

pCONTAINERHANDLE pContainer

Pointer to the container handle.

CONTAINEREVENTTYPE nEventType

The type of event sent by the container. Possible values are:

Value Meaning
CONTAINER_EVENT_TYPE_DRAW The container is now drawing.

L_VOID * pEventData

Pointer to a structure that contains data associated with the event specified in nEventType. When nEventType is CONTAINER_EVENT_TYPE_DRAW, then the pEventData must be type pCONTAINEROBJECTDATA.

Keep in mind that this is a void pointer, which must be cast to the appropriate data type for the event data.

L_VOID * pUserData

A void pointer that can be used to access a variable or structure containing data that the callback function needs. This makes it possible to receive data indirectly from the function that uses this callback function. (This is the same pointer passed in the pUserData parameter of the calling function.)

Keep in mind that this is a void pointer, which must be cast to the appropriate data type within your callback function.

Returns

Value Meaning
SUCCESS The function was successful.
< 1 An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.
