editContentAfterDraw Property

Summary

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the EditContent event should occur automatically after the designer has successfully finished drawing a new object.

Syntax
TypeScript
JavaScript
Object.defineProperty(AnnAutomationManager.prototype, 'editContentAfterDraw',
	get: function(),
	set: function(value)
)
editContentAfterDraw: boolean;

Property Value

true to fire the EditContent automatically after the designer has successfully finished drawing a new object; otherwise, false. The default value is false.

Remarks

The EditContent event usually occurs when the user double clicks on an AnnObject. This allows the application to show the user-interface elements necessary to edit the content of the object in-place.

You can trigger this event automatically when the user finishes drawing new objects by setting the value of EditContentAfterDraw property to true. This will cause the in-place content editing user-interface to be invoked right after the user finishes drawing new objects.
