IltmmConvert::put_TargetStream

Summary

Sets the specified stream object as the media target.

Parameters

IltmmConvert *pConvert

Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.

IUnknown *newVal

Pointer to the stream object to be set as the media target.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Any object, such as an ltmmMemory object, that can implement IStream, can act as a media target.

This function sets a stream object as the media target for the conversion process. The IltmmConvert::ResetTarget function should be called to stop the convert object from accessing the stream object. The target type will be set to ltmmConvert_Target_Stream.
