Retrieves a value that indicates the ability to do a write test on the inserted media in the drive.

pDVDBurner | Pointer to an ILTDVDBurner interface. | |
pVal | Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates the ability to do a write test on the inserted media in the drive. Possible values are: | |
Value | Meaning | |
VARIANT_TRUE | The inserted media in the drive is able to perform a write test. | |
VARIANT_FALSE | The inserted media in the drive is unable to perform a write test. |

The function was successful. |

Write tests are not supported for media of type DVD+RW, when the value of pVal parameter of the ILTDVDBurner::get_DiscType function is LTDVDBurner_DiscType_DVDPLUSRW
