SortUsingCriteria Method

Summary

Sorts the input list of data based on the various values stored inside the data.

Parameters

inputList

A list of DicomSortImageData that will be stored.

sortCriteria

The criteria to follow when sorting the frames.

separateCriteria

Determines which DICOM tag will be used to separate the input list into multiple lists.

Return Value

true if the sort is successful; otherwise, false.

Remarks

If sortCriteria is set to Acquisition time, then the method will sort the frames based on the AcquisitionTime data. Otherwise, the method will sort the list based on
- Image position
- Image orientation
- Echo number
- Instance number
- Frame of reference UID
For successful sorting, it is important to have the data properly filled in.
If the sort fails for any reason, it returns false.
