Macintosh Pict (PCT) files are produced using Macintosh QuickDraw, and are used in desktop publishing and imaging applications.
PCT Vector files can be read and written as raster images in the non-vector toolkits. LEADTOOLS supports multiple page files when reading and writing PCT images as raster images. Vector read/write support for these formats is provided in the LEADTOOLS Vector Imaging Pro toolkit and is unlocked when the Vector features are unlocked.
This file format supports loading QuickTime compressed data.
File constants associated with this file format are:
Constant | Raster Read Support | Raster Write Support | Vector Read Support | Vector Write Support | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
FILE_PCT | 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 BPP | 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 BPP | Yes | Yes | [56] Macintosh QuickDraw |
When PCT files are rasterized, they are 24 BPP.
