LVectorObject::IsValid

Summary

Determines whether the LVectorObject class object is valid.

Syntax

L_BOOL LVectorObject::IsValid(L_VOID)

Returns

Value Meaning
TRUE The LVectorObject class object is valid.
FALSE The LVectorObject class object is not valid.

Comments

An LVectorObject is invalid if it is created using the LVectorObject::LVectorObject() constructor. It remains invalid until it is added to a vector layer, using LVectorLayer::AddObject, or it is passed to LVectorBase::HitTest.

A valid LVectorObject object will become invalid when it is exploded, using LVectorObject::ExplodeObject.
