Sets a mutual authentication key at the specified index in the array. This function is available in the PACS Imaging toolkits.

Parameter	Description
nIndex	Index into the array of authentication keys. This index is 1-based. Possible values for this index are between 1 and 8, inclusive.
key	A 64-bit integer, in little endian byte order, that represents an authentication key used during the mutual authentication process.

Returns

DICOM_SUCCESS	Success. The specified key was set in the specified position in the keys array.
DICOM_ERROR_PARAMETER	A parameter error occurred. nIndex was 0 or bigger than 8.

Comments

One of eight mutual authentication keys can be used for authenticating a peer. For more information, refer to Adding Security to a DICOM Connection and the ISCL standard.
