Adds or removes the preview graph for the convert graph.

Parameter Description
pConvert Pointer to an IltmfConvert interface.
newVal Flag that indicates whether to add or remove the preview graph from the convert graph. Possible values are:
  Value Meaning
  VARIANT_TRUE Add the preview graph.
  VARIANT_FALSE Remove the preview graph. This is the default value.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

Adding the preview topology branch in the convert topology will enable previewing the stream while converting.

To add or remove the preview node, the convert session must be in the stopped state.
