QuerySeries Method (IStorageDataAccessAgent)
Summary
Finds the series information with the specified matching parameters.
Syntax

Parameters
matchingEntitiesCollection
A MatchingParameterCollection which includes the matching parameters for the query.
Return Value
The System.Data.DataSet which contains the series information that matches the query parameters.
Remarks
The matchingEntitiesCollection can be from any level and they are not limited to the series level.
Which means you can query for series using the Patient ID in the patient level or SOP Instance UID in the instance level.
This method will include all the information for the patient, study and the study level.
For more information about the tables returned for the patient level see the QueryPatients method. For more information about the tables returned for the study level see the QueryStudies method.
The following tables in the CompositeInstanceDataSet will contain the series information: Series, ReferencedPerformedProcedureStepSequence and RequestAttributeSequence.
