PixelSpacing Property

Summary
Gets or sets the distance length in millimeters between two successive pixels in both the horizontal and the vertical directions.
Syntax
C#
C++/CLI
public Point2D PixelSpacing { get; set; }
public:
property Point2D PixelSpacing {
   Point2D get();
   void set (    Point2D );
}

Property Value

The distance between two successive pixels.

Remarks

The Pixel Spacing term in DICOM does not represent horizontal or vertical direction. It just represents row and column for a 2D image slice. Slice orientation can be any orientation in 3D space.
