AutoTruncate Property

Summary

Gets or sets whether string data should be truncated to match the data store length when storing a DicomDataSet.

Property Value

True to truncate the string data to match the data store length when storing a DicomDataSet. Otherwise, false. Default is false.

Remarks

This should only be set to true if necessary. The data store length should be enough to hold the stored information according to the DICOM standards. However, if there are DicomDataSet objects that don't comply with the standard they won't be stored unless this option is on
