ExistsMetadataJson Method

Summary

Returns true if an JSON metadata representation exists in the database for sopInstanceUid; otherwise false.

Syntax

public bool ExistsMetadataJson( 
   string sopInstanceUid 
)

Parameters

sopInstanceUid

The SOP Instance UID (0008,0018) of the DicomDataSet.

Return Value

true if a JSON metadata representation exists in the database for sopInstanceUid; otherwise false.

Remarks

Use this method to determine if JSON formatted metadata corresponding to sopInstanceUid is already present in the MetadataJson database table. If the metadata does not exist, it can be easily generated by calling StoreMetadataJson.
