QueryStudies Method

Summary

Find studies information with the specified matching parameters.

Parameters

matchingEntitiesCollection

A MatchingParameterCollection which includes the matching parameters for the query.

queryPageInfo

Type: QueryPageInfo Specifies the page number and page size that will result from the executing the query.

Return Value

The System.Data.DataSet which contains the studies information that matches the query parameters.

Remarks

The matchingEntitiesCollection can be from any level and they are not limited to the study level.

Which means you can query for studies using the Series Instance UID in the series level or SOP Instance UID in the instance level.

This method will include all the information for the patient and study level. For more information about the tables returned for the patient level see the QueryPatients method.

The following tables in the CompositeInstanceDataSet will contain the studies information: CompositeInstanceDataSet.ProcedureCodeSequence, CompositeInstanceDataSet.NameOfPhysicianReadingStudy and CompositeInstanceDataSet.ReferencedStudySequence.
