L_LTDIC_API L_BOOL L_DicomSetBinaryFile(hDS, pElement, pszFileName)

Sets the binary value of an element.

Parameters

HDICOMDS hDS

A DICOM handle.

pDICOMELEMENT pElement

Pointer to a DICOMELEMENT structure within the Data Set.

const L_TCHAR * pszFileName

String with file name to read binary data from.

Returns

Value Meaning
TRUE The binary value of the Data Element was set successfully.
FALSE Could not set the binary value of the Data Element.

Comments

This function overwrites the value of the Data Element. The Value Length of the Data Element is then equal to file's length.
