Returns a pointer to the item in the Data Element Tag Table that immediately precedes the specified item.

Parameters

pDICOMTAG pTag

Pointer to a DICOMTAGstructure that contains an item in the Data Element Tag Table. A pointer to the item in the table that immediately precedes this item will be returned.

Returns

Value Meaning
!NULL A pointer to a DICOMTAG structure that contains the item in the Data Element Tag Table that immediately precedes the item specified in pTag.
NULL There is not an item preceding pTag. (pTag is the first item in the table.)
