Retrieves a value that indicates the tradeoff between encoding quality and encoding speed.

Parameter	Description
Format	Pointer to an IltmfTargetFormat interface.
pVal	Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates the tradeoff between encoding quality and encoding speed.

Returns

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

This value can be between 0 and 100, where 0 indicates a Lower quality and faster encoding, while 100 indicates Higher quality but slower encoding.
To set this value call IltmfTargetFormat::put_VideoEncodeQuality.
