supportsSelectionStroke Property

Summary

Indicates if this object supports a selection stroke.

Syntax
TypeScript
JavaScript
Object.defineProperty(AnnObject.prototype, 'supportsSelectionStroke',
	get: function()
)
supportsSelectionStroke: boolean; // read-only

Property Value

true if this AnnObject supports drawing its selected border with a stroke; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Derived classes should override SupportsSelectionStroke, to indicate whether SelectionStroke will be used by the object. This will insure that the object will save and load the values during serialization. Some object renderers will also check these values to prepare a font or a brush.

For example, a text hilite object will override this property to return true, while a line object will return false.

When the object supports a selection stroke, the IAnnObjectRenderer for it will use the value of SelectionStroke to draw a rectangle around the boundary of the object when it is selected (IsSelected is true).
