IltmfCapture::get_Mute

Summary

Determines whether the audio stream is muted.

Syntax

Language Syntax
C HRESULT IltmfCapture_get_Mute(pCapture, pMute)
C++ HRESULT get_Mute(pMute)

Parameters

IltmfCapture *pCapture

Pointer to an IltmfCapture interface.

VARIANT_BOOL *pMute

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates whether the audio stream is muted. Possible values are:

Value Meaning
TRUE The audio stream is muted.
FALSE The audio stream is not muted.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes.

Comments

If the audio stream is not muted, then the volume used is the volume set using IltmfCapture::put_Volume.

Audio stream

The portion of the file holding the audio data. The audio data might be compressed to save disk space. The data has to be decompressed using an audio decompressor before you can play (hear) it.
