ReturnCorruptedSymbolArea Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the engine returns the area where an un-readable PDF417 symbol is located.

Property Value

true to return the area that an un-readable PDF417 symbol is located". Otherwise, false. The default value is false.

Remarks

When the value of this property is set to the default of false, the BarcodeReader will throw an exception of type BarcodeException with an error code of BarcodeExceptionCode.FoundCorrupt. If you set the value to true however, then the reader will return the barcode data object with only the BarcodeData.Bounds member as valid. i.e., with no data.
