IltmfTargetAudioTypes::FindFormat

Summary

Determines the index of a specific target audio type in the collection based on the audio properties in the IltmfTargetFormat interface.

Syntax

Parameters

IltmfTargetAudioTypes *pTargetAudioTypes

Pointer to an IltmfTargetAudioTypes Interface.

IltmfTargetFormat *format

pointer to IltmfTargetFormat interface that contains audio properties which is the same as the target audio type's properties.

long *pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives the zero based index of the matching target audio type. A value of 1 indicates that no match was found.

The audio properties that are used in the search criteria are:

• IltmfTargetFormat::get_AudioAvgBytesPerSecond
• IltmfTargetFormat::get_AudioBitsPerSample
• IltmfTargetFormat::get_AudioNumChannels
• IltmfTargetFormat::get_AudioSamplesPerSecond
