IltmfTVTuner::AutoTune

Summary

Fine tunes the specified channel by scanning for the most precise signal for that channel.

Syntax

Parameters

IltmfTVTuner *pTV

Pointer to an IltmfTVTuner interface.

long Channel

Number of the channel to "fine tune".

long *pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates whether the signal was found. A nonzero value indicates the signal was found. Zero indicates the signal was not found.

Comments

This function maps the TV channel to a frequency and searches for the most precise frequency for this channel, in the area. Calling this function for every channel in a region or country allows you to create a table of channel and frequency information. Once all channels in the region or country have been scanned, use IltmfTVTuner::StoreAutoTune to save the channel information.
