L_DicomGetAuthenticationAlgorithmTLS

Summary

Returns the mutual authentication mode or algorithm for the cipher.

Syntax

L_LTDIC_API L_UINT32 L_DicomGetAuthenticationAlgorithmTLS(hNet, cipher)

Parameters

HDICOMNET hNet

Handle to an existing DICOM Network. This is the handle returned from the L_DicomCreateNet function.

L_CIPHERSUITE cipher

Value that indicates the ciphersuite for which to get the authentication mode or algorithm.

Returns

A value that represents the authentication mode or algorithm. For possible values, refer to L_MUTUAL_AUTH_METHOD.

Comments

There are several different cipher suites. Some differ only in the mutual authentication algorithm. Usually the authentication algorithm is based on RSA or DSS certificates.
