Starting in version 17.5 of the toolkit, you can easily and quickly customize the DICOM Unique Identifier table (UID Table) by editing the dicTableUid.xml file that is found in the LEADTOOLS Sample Images folder. The dicTableUid.xml file is a human-readable XML file that lists all of the DICOM UIDs currently defined in the DICOM Specification. You can edit this with any text editor (for example Notepad) to add or remove DICOM UIDs. Then call L_DicomLoadXmlUID() and pass the complete path of the dicTableUid.xml file. Note that calling L_DicomLoadXmlUID() will first remove all UIDs that are already present in the table.
To see the default values for the UID Table, refer to the Default UID Table.
For more information, see the topic Working with DICOM Tables.
Win32, x64
This example loads the UID table from the dicTableUid.xml file that is shipped with the toolkit.
