RECEIVEDATACALLBACK

Summary

Notifies a connection when a Data message was received. This function is available in the PACS Imaging.

Syntax

L_VOID pEXT_CALLBACK Your Function(hNet, nID, hCS, hDS, UserData)

Parameters

HDICOMNET hNet

A DICOM Network handle.

L_UCHAR nID

Presentation ID. The presentation ID provides information about both the class type of the data and the transfer syntax to use when transferring the data.

HDICOMDS hCS

A DICOM handle that references the command set that contains the actual command message.

HDICOMDS hDS

A DICOM handle that contains the actual data. This may be NULL if no data set is included.

L_VOID * pUserData

Void pointer that you can use to access a variable or structure containing data that your callback function needs. This gives you a way to receive data indirectly from the function that uses this callback function.

Keep in mind that this is a void pointer, which must be cast to the appropriate data type within your callback function.

Returns

None.

Comments

This is a low level means of receiving DICOM messages and data. It allows you to process messages yourself, instead of using the high level message processing functions provided.

This callback function is generated for each L_DicomSendCXXX or L_DicomSendNXXX function provided by LEADTOOLS.
