LVectorFile::IsValid

Summary

Determines whether the LVectorFile object is ready to be used.

Syntax

L_BOOL LVectorFile::IsValid(L_VOID)

Returns

Value Meaning
TRUE The LVectorFile object is ready to be used.
FALSE The LVectorFile object is not ready to be used.

Comments

Before you can use some of the file functions, a vector and a filename must be associated with the class object. Until you have associated a vector and a filename with the LVectorFile object, the object is considered invalid.

The function will return TRUE only if both the filename and the vector have been set and are valid.
