WPF AnnProtractorObject

Note: This topic is for Document/Medical only. The protractor annotation object (AnnProtractorObject) consists of two simple lines joined at a vertex to create an angle. With the automated functions, the first line of the protractor is started on a mouse-down event and completed on a second mouse-down event. The second line is completed on a third mouse-down event. Programmatically, the boundaries and location of the protractor object can be controlled using the following properties:

• ArcRadius
• CenterPoint
• FirstPoint
• Origin
• SecondPoint

The AnnProtractorObject class inherits a number of properties from the AnnObject class that provide support for font, pen and brush characteristics. These properties are listed below:

• Fill
• FillBrush
• Stroke
• StrokeBrush
• StrokeThickness

The AnnProtractorObject class implements the IAnnProtractor interface. This interface provides a number of protractor properties that control certain aspects of the protractors themselves and indicate which characteristics will be displayed on the protractor. These properties are listed below:

• Acute
• AnglePrecision
• AngularUnit
• AngularUnitAbbreviation
• IsProtractorImplemented
• ShowAngle

The AnnProtractorObject class implements the IAnnRuler interface. This interface provides a number of ruler properties that control certain aspects of the rulers themselves and indicate which characteristics will be displayed on the ruler. These properties are listed below:

• GaugeLength
• MeasurementUnit
• Precision
• IsRulerImplemented
• ShowGauge
• ShowLength
• ShowTickMarks
• TickMarksLength
• UnitAbbreviation

The name of the protractor object can be controlled using the following properties, inherited from the AnnObject class:

• Header
• HeaderBackground
• HeaderDecorations
• HeaderFontFamilyName
• HeaderFontSize
• HeaderFontStretch
• HeaderFontStyle
• HeaderFontWeight
• HeaderForeground
• HeaderOffset
• IsHeaderRestricted
• IsHeaderVisible

The following properties may be used in transforming a protractor annotation object:

• RenderTransform
• TransformMode

An object can be part of a group annotation object or part of a container object. It cannot be part of both a group and a container at the same time. The following properties can also be used to programmatically set characteristics of an AnnProtractorObject class object:

• Hyperlink
• IsLocked
• Password
