Introduction
LEADTOOLS WADO Services
Both LEADTOOLS DICOMweb and LEADTOOLS WADO Services provide web access to DICOM Objects (WADO). These services conform to the latest version (2015c) of the DICOM PS3.18 specification and are implemented in ASP .NET (version 4). Both the services and the demo code are provided.
The following figure shows a WADO client connected to the PACS Server Manager.
Features
- Access and present DICOM persistent objects
- Distribute results and images to healthcare professionals
- Access DICOM persistent objects (through HTTP/HTTPS protocol) using DICOM UIDs (Unique Identifiers)
- Retrieve data either in presentation-ready form (for example, JPEG or GIF), or in a native DICOM format.
