Introduction
WPF AnnRichTextObject

The Rich Text annotation object (AnnRichTextObject) is a rectangle containing text that supports the Rich Text Format (RTF) file format.
In design mode, click and drag to specify the rectangle in the current container. Holding down the Shift key while drawing the rectangle will make the text annotation square. A dialog box then lets the user enter the text. A menu also appears for further formatting of text. Formatting support includes:
- Font
- Font size
- Bold
- Italic
- Underline
- Foreground Color
- Background Color
- Bullets
- Numbering
- Indenting
- Alignment
Programmatically, the boundaries and location of the rich text object can be controlled using the following properties:
The AnnRichTextObject class inherits the following properties from the AnnObject class that provide support for font, pen and brush characteristics:
The name of the rich text object can be controlled using the following properties, inherited from the AnnObject class:

- HeaderDecorations
- HeaderFontFamilyName
- HeaderFontSize
- HeaderFontStretch
- HeaderFontStyle
- HeaderFontWeight
- HeaderForeground
- HeaderOffset
- IsHeaderRestricted
- IsHeaderVisible
The following properties may be used in transforming an rich text annotation object:
An object can be part of a group annotation object or part of a container object. It cannot be part of both a group and a container at the same time.
The following properties can also be used to programmatically set characteristics of an AnnRichTextObject class object:
- Rtf
- Hyperlink
- IsLocked
- Password
- Picture
